Closing act: 404: from the subconscious to the conscious and back
Andreas Kühne and Benedikt Wöppel, 404: from the subconscious to the conscious and back (live performance)
In their audio-visual improvisations the artists and musicians Andreas Kühne and Benedikt Wöppel challenge the unconscious. At “404” the unconsciousness is represented by an archive of images, symbols and audio-samples, that refer to today’s digital media. By means of musical and virtual audio-visual instruments they select, manipulate and project the material of the archive in order to generate spontaneous and unpredictable scenarios.
Visual world and soundscape emerges intuitively and manifest to ephemeral utopias and dystopias. “404” is an instant science fiction machine, which suggests possible realities from the unknown.
The unknown is the immortal part of the world, from which everything mortal arises, before it collapses and returns to subconsciousness.

Magno Caliman – squareFuck
A performance that extends the live coding act to outside of the software realm, by integrating real time assembly and manipulation of electronic circuits to the traditional “show us your screen” code display, while live coding Arduino boards and physically manipulating speakers. squareFuck unveils a process of failure. The inability to perform a task is, ultimately, the unwillingness to leave things behind.

ActoDisko (aka Jasper Schütz, ActoDi’s Experiment, Heipalen and Pronksnor) brings an industrial mix of ambient noise and DIY Techno. His instruments range from old-school drum machines, through DIY sound modules to modified kids toys. Get a vibe of thundering kicks, distorted machines, and eerie chiptunes.

Oneven is the pseudonym of Dutch/British electronic artist Andrew Visser.
Active since 2007, his music was mainly recorded for family and friends. It wasn’t until 2018 that he started sharing his new music with the public under the name ‘Oneven’.
His desire is to not conform to simply one genre of music, but to rather explore and mix multiple influences for each new release(as is evident in his soundscape EP ‘Hittegolf’ and his minimal techno focused single ‘Time Crisis’). However, there is one similarity in each release: the human aspect that keeps his music raw and imperfect.

hlolli (Hlödver Sigurdsson)
Hlöðver aka hlolli is a composer and live-coder residing in Berlin. As active live-coder in the Algorave scene, hlolli makes his musical loops entirely with code. In his linux based toolkit he uses his own lisp based software called Panaeolus which ties together the sound engines of Csound and Supercollider. Panaeolus provides ease of rapid transformation of complex rhythmic patterns over hi-fi computed audio. His set will be mixed with audio hallucinations and Berlin-fused techno beats, lifting primitively moving bodies into timeless transcendental states.

VJ The C-Men
Some veejays need expensive, high-end PCs or Macs to display a bunch of grey lines. The C-Men only need 2 Amiga computers, a 320×256 resolution in 16 colours and a couple of Red Bulls to send those graphic designer VJs home with burnt retinas.
The C-Men originally started as a duo 15 years ago in 1998 from their hometown Enschede. Having met in art school, Julian van Aalderen and Sjors Trimbach shared a mutual passion for animation on Amiga computers and soon found themselves performing live visuals.
Their first outings were for obscure noise performances and underground electro, techno, drum ‘n’ bass gigs, shortly after teaming up with micromusic to become some of the longest-active visual artists in the chiptune scene. The C-Men have brought their unique brand of low-res, hardcore, epileptic and brightly coloured imagery to cities like Moscow, New York, Pusan, Tokyo, Stockholm, London and their hometown of Enschede
15 years of low-res hard-core.
